Croissants are really good , I really liked the pistachio croissant and orange cranberry croissant but staff is unfriendly and borderline rude.

Visited this maman after having stopped by another location our last visit to New York. We stopped in briefly to grab breakfast before exploring SoHo for the day and it was a good time. We intended to dine in the restaurant but there was a line of about 3 groups ahead of us, moving at a very slow pace, so we decided to take out instead. Be forewarned, if you plan on dining in they expect you to order more than just pastries (which is reasonable). Myself and a friend both got almond croissants and hot drinks. The almond croissants were so flaky and delicious we will definitely be back to visit again. Only downside was there is not enough bar seating if you do not want to dine in, and the overall pace is a little small. But, overall, worth it for a quick bite to eat.

I had an iced americano and a banana chocolate walnut bread and the mrs had a chi latte with soy and chocolate chip cookie , all done very well. The service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was peaceful and almost serene- which is saying a lot for this busy neighborhood. We're definitely coming back and would recommend this spot.

I had never heard of the maman chain of bakeries before I encountered this location in Soho. However, it's rustic looking store front was appealing and when I walked in the display of baked goods definitely drew my eye. The counter where you order is pretty much right there as you walk in. Seating is towards the back (I did not get a great look at it). The barista/cashier behind the counter were super nice and answered my questions about their pies (which have to be preordered seasonally). I wound up getting their Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal Cookie, a combination I did not recall ever seeing before. I took it to go so I didn't hang out long, but I was there long enough to appreciate the warm, friendly if not slightly noisy ambience of the bakery. The cookie itself was fantastic. Oatmeal cookies get a bad rep but I love them, and the PS flavor was definitely in full effect with this one. It also had a nice, chewy texture. I'm looking forward to returning to maman to try out their drinks and maybe get some more oatmeal cookies!

Super cute cafe, I've heard about their pastries but I only ordered an espresso martini for their happy hour. It was strong and tasty. The restaurant is beautiful and extra seating is available in the back

Maman is a great chain, from pastries to kitchen items, consistent tasty options. I went to the SoHo location for an afternoon meet. Ordered the Caesar kale salad, vegan chai cookie, almond croissant, and chai lattes. The kale Caesar was really delicious, my guest ate the whole plate. The almond croissant was toasted which made it flaky good. The chai cookie was a surprise on sweetness and the oat milk chai is the best I had in NY so far. I'm glad I decided to have afternoon lunch here. The staff were very nice, great costumer service. I always like the rustic decor each location showcase. I ate in the dining house outside but there's interior seating in the rear of restaurant with water closet. Great ambiance for date's/casual meetings or solo dates. Don't pass up Maman!
